Overview

Belgravia Apparel is proud to be an Australian owned Sportswear and Schoolwear manufacturer. We provide uniforms for Sporting Clubs, Schools and Corporate companies. We are the Elite Sports Teams licensee for New Balance in Australia and New Zealand, and our customers include the West Coast Eagles, Perth Scorchers, West Coast Fever, Western Force and the Perth Bears, to name a few. We also manufacture high quality sportswear for local grassroots community sporting clubs and State Sporting Organisations such as Football West, Baseball WA, Softball WA and the Perth Football League. We are recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant on a casual, part-time basis, with the opportunity to become full-time. We\u2019re looking for a motivated individual to join our growing team and help us ensure our amazing customers receive their orders quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

* Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments: Verify the contents of incoming shipments against shipping documents, check for damages, and ensure proper labelling and storage of items.
* Stocking and organising inventory: Arrange inventory in a systematic manner, label products, and categorise them based on specific criteria for easy retrieval.
* Order picking and packing: Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders and pack them securely for shipment.
* Inventory control: Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory records and management systems.
* Shipping and receiving coordination: Collaborate with shipping carriers and logistics personnel to schedule shipments, prepare shipping documents, and ensure timely delivery of outgoing orders.
* General housekeeping and safety: Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, perform general housekeeping tasks, and adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Data entry and documentation: Enter data related to inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities into computer systems or documentation.
* Assisting with inventory audits: Participate in periodic physical inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
* Communicating with team members: Collaborate and communicate effectively with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications

* Previous experience in a role within an order processing and fulfilment environment
* Self-motivated, high attention to detail, professional and hardworking
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg)
* Positive attitude
* Reliable and punctual
* Able to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
* Strong analytical and solution focused skills
* Ability to work autonomously
* Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
* Strong organisational and planning skills, whilst being flexible enough to adapt to changes in circumstances
* Adept in Microsoft Office programs is a bonus
