Sous Chef - Waterfront Bistro | $100-110K Super About the Role Join a high-volume, waterfront venue delivering a refined take on Mediterranean and Modern Australian cuisine. This is a busy, well-established restaurant with a strong following, combining the energy of a casual dining space with the quality and finish of an upmarket bistro. Working closely with a respected Head Chef, you'll play a key role in leading the kitchen through fast-paced service while maintaining consistency, quality, and structure. This is a hands-on role with real ownership - ideal for a Sous Chef who enjoys pace, but still takes pride in well-executed, produce-driven food. The current Sous Chef is moving on after providing extended notice, allowing for a well-planned transition. There will be a structured handover and onboarding process in place, reflecting a team culture built on respect, organisation, and support. You'll be involved across all aspects of the kitchen, from running the pass and managing prep, through to rostering, ordering, and supporting team development.
