What we are looking for
Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for the position of Kindergarten Teacher / Director at St Brigid's Catholic Kindergarten, Emerald. This is a part‑time position, for 26.6hpw (7 day fortnight), commencing from January 2026.

* Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
* Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
* Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
* A desire to serve the community of Emerald
About us
St Brigid's Catholic Kindergarten, Emerald was established in 2013 and operates a five day fortnight with a current enrolment of 22 children.
Mandatory Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications
* Ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration and / or relevant ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher Qualification
* Hold one of the following Child Protection competencies or willing to obtain:
* CHCPRT025—Identify and report children and young people at risk
* CHCPRT001—Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
* CHCPRT026—Support the rights and safety of children and young people
* CHCPRT002—Support the rights and safety of children and young people
* CHCECE057—Use collaborative practices to uphold child protection principles
* Australian work rights
