About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Anaesthetic Nurse to join our perioperative team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will support anaesthetists and surgical teams in delivering safe, high-quality care to patients before, during, and after anaesthesia.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist anaesthetists during induction, maintenance, and emergence of anaesthesia
* Prepare and check anaesthetic equipment, medications, and monitoring devices
* Provide patient care and reassurance pre- and post-procedure
* Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to changes
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation
* Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
* Participate in emergency situations, including resuscitation when required
About You
* Registered Nurse with current professional registration
* Experience in Anaesthetics
* Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
* Excellent communication and patient-care skills
* Commitment to high standards of safety and professional practice
