A well-established national supplier of food packaging solutions is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support continued growth across the NSW hospitality market.

Due to continued demand across the NSW hospitality sector, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of a key customer territory and support both account growth and new business development.
OPPORTUNITY
This is a field-based Account Management role responsible for managing an established portfolio of hospitality customers across Sydney while identifying opportunities to expand territory revenue.
The successful candidate will focus on maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while proactively developing new business across cafés, bakeries, restaurants and other foodservice operators.
The role involves regular customer visits, territory planning and collaboration with internal teams to ensure reliable service delivery and account performance.
You will operate within a structured territory, supported by an experienced internal team across customer service, logistics and accounts.
This role requires a presence in the office 2–3 days per week, with the remainder of time spent meeting customers and managing the territory.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing an established portfolio of hospitality and foodservice accounts
* Developing strong, long-term relationships with customers across cafés, restaurants and food-to-go operators
* Conducting regular client visits and implementing structured call cycles across the territory
* Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts through product expansion and upselling
* Proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities within the hospitality sector
* Monitoring territory sales performance and identifying underperforming accounts for re-engagement
* Working closely with internal customer service and logistics teams to ensure accurate order fulfilment
* Collaborating with the accounts team to ensure customers are trading within agreed commercial terms
* Providing market feedback and insights into customer trends, packaging demand and competitor activity

CANDIDATE
The business is seeking an experienced Account Manager with strong exposure to the foodservice or hospitality supply sector, ideally with an existing understanding of how cafés, restaurants and catering operators purchase consumables and packaging products.
You will be comfortable managing a customer portfolio while actively identifying opportunities to grow territory revenue.
Successful candidates are likely to come from industries such as:

Key requirements include:
* Demonstrated experience in B2B account management within the foodservice or hospitality sector
* Proven track record managing and growing a customer portfolio
* Experience selling consumable products into cafés, restaurants or hospitality operators

* Ability to analyse sales activity and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
* Experience managing multiple customers within a structured call cycle
* Commercial awareness relating to pricing, margins and trading terms
