About The Enoggera Health Centre Enoggera Health Centre is located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, and provides support to Gallipoli, Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks.
Established in 1908, this modern military base currently spans 600 hectares with approximately 8,000 members. The largest base in South Queensland, it incorporates the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters, a major manoeuvre formation, local support facilities and a range of training facilities. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services. This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700‑1630 Monday – Friday.
What You’ll Do
Deliver preventative and emergency dental care including examinations, restorations and minor oral surgery
Perform procedures such as x‑rays, extractions, root‑canal treatments and prosthodontic management
Work collaboratively with dental, medical and nursing teams to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care
Support the oral health and dental readiness of Defence personnel
What You Bring
Current, unrestricted registration as a Dentist (General) with AHPRA
Minimum 2 years’ full‑time post graduate clinical chair‑side experience within the last 5 years (or part‑time equivalent)
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification
Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with AHPRA requirements
Australian Citizenship to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance
