About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Workers to support clients across Ballina, Lennox Head, Byron Bay, and surrounding areas.
Your duties will include:
* Domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry)
* Personal care (showering, grooming, toileting)
* Meal preparation and medication reminders
* Transport and shopping assistance
* Developing meaningful, long-term client relationships
Your support helps our clients feel valued, confident, and respected in their daily lives.
What We're Looking For
We require availability to commence shifts between 6:00am and 6:30am on weekdays to meet client needs.
This is a part-time role, offering a minimum of 30 hours per fortnight, with potential for more hours depending on your availability, travel flexibility, and experience.
To be successful, you will have:
* A current Police Clearance Certificate
* An unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
* First Aid and CPR certificates
* A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
* Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy
* Confidence using a smartphone, apps, and email
* An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
* Or currently studying towards a Nursing qualification
