HR Officer
Plant/Site: JBS Beef City Plant
About the Role
JBS Beef City is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HR Officer to join the team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the site HR Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting the effective and successful delivery of HR operations across the plant.
This is a full-time day shift position, working Monday to Friday. From time to time, you may be required to provide coverage across different shifts at short notice.
Responsibilities
* Performing daily HR administration, including data entry and the preparation of reports
* Supporting HR activities across the plant, including employee engagement, retention and recruitment initiatives
* Liaising daily with Training, Rehabilitation, WHS and Payroll teams on a range of HR related matters
* Supporting leaders in coaching and mentoring team members, including preparing written documentation and managing disciplinary processes
* Managing internal HR systems, including the KRONOS Time and Attendance system
* Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and manuals, as well as relevant legislation and government regulations
* Conducting disciplinary investigations
* Completing general administrative duties such as filing, answering phones and coordinating interviews and medical appointments
* Undertaking additional duties as required or directed
Qualifications
* Demonstrated computer literacy in excel, word and outlook
* Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships with various departments
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to effectively learn new tasks quickly and efficiently
* Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Highly developed time management skills including prioritising and multi-tasking
* Strong communication skills with an emphasis on excellent listening and interaction skills
* Must have AU working rights
* Must have a valid driver's license
