About the opportunity
Baker Bleu is seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House professional to join their team at their Caulfield North location.
The Caulfield North store is a bustling retail hub connected to their main bakery production that offers a diverse menu featuring sourdough loaves, pastries, sandwiches, and sourdough pizzas, as well as serving some of the finest coffee in Melbourne
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable brand in a daytime-only role - no nights required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and inspiring the front of house team, ensuring exceptional customer service and a welcoming environment.
* Assisting with daily store operations, including opening, closing and maintaining efficient workflow.
* Managing staff scheduling, training and development to ensure a high-performing, motivated team.
* Overseeing stock control and ordering, ensuring adequate inventory levels and minimising waste.
* Maintaining adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with company policies and regulations.
* Collaborating with the bakery and production teams to coordinate service flow and product availability.
* Contributing to achieving sales targets and operational goals, implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.

About you
To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience as a Retail or Hospitality Supervisor or Manager, with strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire a team.
You lead by example, enjoy engaging with staff and customers alike and thrive in a hands-on management style.
You will have experience with ordering and stock management, be results-oriented, highly organised and be capable of juggling multiple priorities.
Previous experience with coffee and a genuine passion for food are highly desirable
