As an Ecologist, you will engage with communities, stakeholders, and other Landscape Boards to drive positive environmental outcomes; respond to ecological referrals and native vegetation clearance assessments, offering expert guidance; provide technical advice to staff and stakeholders, helping shape conservation projects and collaborate with land managers to support best-practice land management decisions. To succeed in this role (at either the PO2 or PO3 depending on skills and experience levels), you'll need proven expertise in ecology and environmental management; strong community engagement, project management, communication, and collaboration skills; relevant qualifications to ensure you can hit the ground running and a passion for working with stakeholders, staff, and the broader community to protect and enhance our landscapes.
