Experienced Seafood / Fish Process Worker required for wild catch fishery based in Cobains, Victoria.

Task & Responsibilities
This position will be full time and based in Cobains, Victoria.
You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative team, with your daily responsibilities including:
* Processing the daily catch (incl. icing, weighing, sizing and grading).
* Packaging catch for transport to markets, retailers and commercial customers in Melbourne and Sydney.
* Processing excess Carp for supply to fish farms (scaling, gutting, filleting and cubing) or utilising a variety of mincing, machining and fermenting techniques to transform product into liquid fertiliser for agriculture and poultry use.
Qualification & Experience
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have:
* AQF Certificate I OR a minimum of a Year 10 pass (or equivalent).
* Experience in relation to processing and filleting fresh catch.
* Well-developed communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Reliable and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work effectively, respectfully and collegially in a team environment.

Our current markets are in wild caught live Australian ShortFin (Anguilla Australis) LongFin (Anguilla Reinhardtii) and Carp (Cyprinus Carpio) and we are privileged to be able to work in the pristine waters of the Gippsland Lakes (consisting of three Lakes all connecting together, ending up at Lakes Entrance, where they flow into ocean waters, giving the lake system a continual flow of fresh healthy waterways).
We are both AQUIS and HACCP approved and operate our own export facility in Cobains (Sale region), Victoria - two hours east of Melbourne.
