About the role
As a Sandwich Artist / Shift Supervisor at Subway Nambour, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious and fresh sandwiches for our customers. In this casual position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, food preparation, and supervising the kitchen team during your shifts. The role is based in Nambour, Queensland.
Australian work rights are mandatory for this position.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing a variety of fresh and tasty sandwiches to Subway's high standards
2. Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process
3. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including food preparation areas and dining space
4. Supervising and supporting the kitchen team, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard
5. Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
6. Ensuring all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to
7. Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience in a similar role, such as a Sandwich Artist, Kitchen Hand, or Shift Supervisor, is highly desirable
2. Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
3. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for food presentation
4. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced setting
5. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the kitchen team
6. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
7. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
