Physiotherapist Role in Rural NSW
This position is responsible for providing advanced physiotherapy assessment and treatment services to patients within varied caseloads at a regional hospital and outreach locations.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, with a focus on complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide evidence-based practice to specific case loads and their family members as appropriate.
2. Utilise advanced practice skills to assess and implement interventions in complex cases.
3. Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, attending relevant case conferences, family meetings and team meetings.
4. Represent the department in relevant hospital, Area, State or Professional meetings.
5. Assist in clinical orientation and supervision of Level 1-2 Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, Students and SBATs.
6. Present to colleagues on a regular basis i.e. article reviews, current research, conference presentations, etc.
7. Participate in clinical supervision with a relevant supervisor/mentor.
