We are seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-focused Finals Draftsperson to join our drafting team at Clarendon Homes. Clarendon Homes is one of the businesses within the Campbell Property Group, a well-established Australian-owned, residential builder renowned for our passionate people, innovative designs, and high-quality homes.
What will you be responsible for?
Your day to day could look like:
•Prepare and deliver final architectural drawings and documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and buildability.
•Review and refine working drawings, ensuring they meet Basix, NatHERS, NCC, local council, and developer guidelines.
•Identify and resolve potential buildability and compliance issues before final issue.
•Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Design, Estimating, and Construction to ensure all drawings align with operational and customer requirements.
•Provide technical advice on design changes, structural requirements, and compliance constraints.
•Maintain organised electronic records of all plans and final documentation, adhering to filing and version control standards.
•Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring drafting processes remain efficient and accurate.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with:
•3+ years’ experience in residential drafting within the volume building industry.
•Proven experience in producing final architectural drawings and plans.
•Strong knowledge of NCC, Basix, NatHERS, DA/CDC processes, and local council/developer requirements.
•Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience desirable).
•High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
•Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
•Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
