Casual Drainage Engineer or Senior Drainage Engineer

Role description
The role involves supporting a wide variety of civil engineering projects, including the delivery of drainage designs on projects ranging from road upgrades to complex billion‑dollar infrastructure projects.
Role accountabilities
* Contribute to the delivery of drainage designs on various projects
* Provide technical design expertise for drainage and stormwater quality systems, including piped networks and major transverse drainage structures
* Coordinate and verify designs with project teams across multiple offices, including international design hubs
* Embrace and promote a leading digital work environment and delivery culture
* Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design
Qualification & Experience
* Experience in several facets of the project lifecycle from tendering and concept design through to construction
* Demonstrated self‑management; ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
* Experience working on major infrastructure projects
* Knowledge of DTP standards
* Proven skills with drainage software such as 12D; DRAINS experience highly regarded
* The desire to work collaboratively in a high‑performing team environment
* Ability to work flexibly (remotely and/or on‑site as required)
* Demonstrated experience on Australian infrastructure/engineering projects
* Full Australian working rights
