Account Manager Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to manage existing customer relationships and develop new business opportunities in our computer components business unit.
* Key responsibilities include developing and growing business with specific identified accounts, expanding the customer base by identifying and developing new accounts, and maintaining relationships with key customer contacts including business owners, purchasing managers, and sales/marketing managers.
* Additional duties include managing customer price lists, including pricing tiers for various levels of channel partners, maintaining close awareness of current market pricing, and working with customers to assist them to grow their business through promotional or marketing initiatives, pricing strategy, strategic/tactical planning, and joint customer visits.
* The ideal candidate will also maintain general awareness of the PC components industry, including product trends, indirect and potential competitors, and the effects of external influences such as economic influences like interest rate increases.
* Furthermore, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing the customer order process from quotation through to delivery of products, ensuring adherence to authorisation levels.
