Job Description Senior Project Manager - Sydney Water Projects (up to $50 M)The Company CGC Recruitment is partnering with a global Tier 1 contractor with a strong foothold in the utilities and water infrastructure sector.
With a reputation built over 50+ years, they are one of Australia's most respected civil contractors, known for delivering complex infrastructure projects nationwide.
Due to the recent award of major Sydney Water projects in the $10 M-$50 M range, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager with deep experience in water infrastructure to lead project delivery across metro Sydney.
The Role You will lead the end-to-end delivery of Sydney Water infrastructure works—managing design, stakeholder engagement, subcontractors, budgets, and on-site execution.
The projects involve pipeline installation, pump stations, civil structures, and utility relocations.
This is a critical leadership role that combines site presence with commercial oversight and strategic input.
Key Responsibilities Deliver Sydney Water projects from pre-contracts through to handover Oversee design development, procurement, subcontractor management, and cost reporting Ensure full compliance with Sydney Water specifications and safety standards Manage and mentor a team including Engineers, CAs, and Supervisors Maintain strong relationships with Sydney Water and key stakeholders Identify and mitigate project risks early in the delivery process About You10+ years' experience in civil construction, including recent experience as Senior PMProven track record delivering water/utilities projects up to $50 MStrong understanding of Sydney Water specs and delivery processes Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil contractors Excellent stakeholder and team management skills Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)What's on Offer Work with a global civil contractor on secured Sydney Water projects Supportive commercial and delivery team Secure pipeline of water infrastructure work Competitive salary package + long-term career opportunity Apply Now To express your interest, click APPLY NOW or email your CV to (email protected).
