Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School Secondary English Enrichment Teacher Fixed Term (maternity leave cover) – part-time (one day/week), commencing Term 2 2026. Key Responsibilities
Are you a passionate, innovative English teacher ready to make a real impact? We are seeking an exceptional and engaging Secondary English Enrichment teacher to join our thriving School. Duties
* Plan and deliver English Enrichment lessons to those Secondary students who have been identified as needing extra support, creating a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
* Prepare and implement effective assessments to track and report on student progress.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged.
* Communicate effectively with parents, guardians and colleagues regarding student progress.
Essential Requirements
* Current registration with the WA Teachers Registration Board
* Knowledge and experience of the WA English Curriculum.
* Ability and experience teaching Lower Secondary English, specifically support lessons.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience teaching Religion classes.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Evidence of providing a differentiated curriculum.
* Willingness to contribute to wider school programs, including co-curricular, camps or other school-based activities.
Relevant qualification and experiences will be accepted. Applicants will also need a valid Working with Children card (or willingness to obtain one).
