Indie Education is looking for a full time SharePoint Support Officer to join our team, based at our Indie Education site in Greensborough, Victoria.

This role is responsible for providing user and technical support and advice to the company through various systems, process and platforms.

Indie Education is an educational hub and home to a family of training and educational programs, providing learning services for all age groups, driven by a team that is dedicated and passionate about lifelong learning. Our programs cater for the needs and interests of young people, senior secondary school students in Years 9 to 12, the general community, third age learners, and adults with a disability in supported employment, training and lifestyle activities.

Due to company expansion, an exciting opportunity has been created for a Full time SharePoint Support Officer to join our team, based in Wodonga, Victoria.

The role will provide support to staff across all sites and programs that encompass the Indie Education inclusive of Indie School, Indie College, Aware Programs and Corporate Services.

As a SharePoint support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the SharePoint / Microsoft 365 environment at Indie Education. This role will involve:

* Undertaking improvements on the new sites' navigation / ease of use of each site, including improving how information is display on the sites.
* Undertaking library/page/document cleansing to remove unused library/pages/document without impacting the intended functionality of the new sites.
* Documenting and hand over work for ongoing maintenance, with collaborative knowledge transfer during configuration, testing, and deployment.
* Providing support to the testing process using an iterative configure and test approach and undertaking corrective action to ensure the business requirements are met.
* Assisting in the design, development, and deployment of the company's SharePoint intranet portal to improve internal communication and document management.
* Managing user access, site permissions, and security settings in accordance with company policies.
* Monitoring SharePoint and OneDrive for performance, health, and compliance, taking proactive measures to resolve issues.
* Designing and implement automated workflows using tools like Power Automate to streamline business processes.
* Integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Teams, Power Apps, and Power BI, to create a cohesive digital ecosystem.
* Undertaking unit testing of the changes and support business users conducting user acceptance testing including developing test scripts.
* Working to enhance and meet compliance obligations in the company SharePoint document library.

To be successful in this role you will be organised and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will work cooperatively with teams and individuals.

Preferred skills and experience:

* Knowledge and understanding of SharePoint records.
* Demonstrated experience in the use of Information Management Systems
* Demonstrated ability to work independently without supervision.
* Strong commitment to providing quality customer service.
* Knowledge and understanding of Power Automate (Power tools) Automation.
* Experience developing workflows and integrating SharePoint with the Microsoft 365 environment.

Currently hold or willing to obtain:

* National Police Check
* Working with Children's Check
* Car licence
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
