This is a permanent HSE Advisor position that offers a competitive remuneration package, consisting of a base salary and additional benefits.
As an HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and implementing the site HSE management plan to ensure safety-related documentation and reporting requirements are met for client compliance.
You will monitor HSE performance during daily construction activities, communicate health and safety requirements to the workforce, and maintain a balanced mix of field and office-based duties.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Providing HSE input to toolbox & pre-start meetings
* Reviewing JHAs and undertaking risk assessments
* Hazard identification and site auditing
* Incident investigations and reporting
This role requires autonomy to positively influence and drive the site safety culture to achieve a zero-harm environment for the workforce.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum Certificate IV in OH&S and/or tertiary qualification in OH&S (Degree, Diploma)
* Maximum 5-10 years' experience on industrial or civil construction projects in Western Australia as a HSE Officer/Advisor on site working for construction contractors
* Past success as a HSE Officer/Advisor implementing HSE management plans and requirements on construction sites in the mining or industrial sector while working on a FIFO 2/1 basis
