The Transforming Aboriginal Outcomes Division is a specialist team within the Department of Communities and Justice.

We are seeking an Aboriginal Client Support Officer to provide project support and effective customer service to Aboriginal communities and clients attending court.
">

* Improving relationships between the Aboriginal community and the Court
">
* Providing Outreach services to Albury and Narrandera
">
* Providing Coordinated assessments and referrals to Aboriginal people attending court
">
* Providing court support to defendants, victims, and their families
">
* Supporting Aboriginal targeted projects for clients and communities
">
* Preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining filing, record and data systems
">
* Providing culturally appropriate front line customer service and project delivery
">
* Collating, interpreting, managing and disseminating information to support project development and implementation
">
* Undertaking research to enhance project delivery and outcomes
">
* Promoting projects and services to Aboriginal clients and communities
">
">
Required Skills and Qualifications
">
You will need to be of Aboriginal descent, identify as an Aboriginal person and be accepted by the Aboriginal community.
">
A current driver's license and willingness to travel are also required.
