**Risk Manager**

You will play a crucial role in strategic planning, ensuring that the organisation aligns with its objectives while adhering to legal requirements and internal policies regarding risk management, corporate governance, and business operations. The primary goal is to establish and maintain a robust corporate framework that effectively identifies and mitigates risks while protecting the organisation's interests through appropriate insurance coverage. This encompasses managing organisational policies and procedures, incident management, internal audits, and comprehensive risk registers.

**What you will do**
- Develop, implement and monitor enterprise Risk Register, conducting regular reviews and assessing integrity risk controls, while also implementing and monitoring mitigation plans.
- Manage the placement of corporate insurances, handle claims and insurance matters.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes that may impact the organisation and recommend policy and procedure reviews as needed.
- Schedule internal audits and conduct internal reviews to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines
- Monitor and review the end-to-end incident reporting process, collect, and analyse data from systems and key stakeholders and identify safety risks and trends across the organisation.
- Identify and monitor safety and environmental risks, including the development and implementation of risk assessment processes and mitigation strategies.
- Management of Emergency Management Master Plans.
- Aid the CEO or assume a leadership role during emergencies or disasters, planning and coordinating a response.
**What you need to succeed**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive equivalent work experience in risk management.
- Capability to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions to mitigate or manage risks.
- Experience in crisis management and the ability to develop and implement contingency plans

- Ability to analyse complex data, assess potential risks, and make informed decisions based on analysis
