What are we looking for? Industrial Coatings Coordinator with an eye for quality and adherence to standards.
We are seeking a skilled industrial painter to blast and paint fabricated steel, and other metal materials to the highest level and to be the leading hand of the painting & blasting crews. Products and structures, include but are not limited to, pipe spooling, boilers, pressure vessels, structural steel and rig and transport equipment.
Key Tasks:
* Read and interpret painting specifications to ensure that the right systems, colour schemes and surfaces finishes are achieved
* May be required to carry out shift work or by negotiation work at alternate locations however this role is primarily workshop based in Toowoomba
* Ensure that the work area is kept clean, tidy and equipment is maintained to company requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential
* Trade Certificate or Industrial Experience
* Previous experience in a similar environment and industry
* Valid QLD Drivers Licence
* High Risk Work Licence – LF
