Team & Role Overview
Renal Services (North) provides CKD education, home therapies, haemodialysis, acute inpatients, renal transplant work‐up and education, and follow‐up care for transplant recipients.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership and coordination for renal transplantation at Launceston General Hospital and Satellite Renal Unit.
* Coordinate referral, education, work‐up of recipients and donors, investigations, clinical reviews, and assessment.
* Develop and deliver recipient‐donor education and staff training.
* Participate in data collection for ANZDATA, ANZOD Registry and KPIs.
* Maintain transplant list status in real time using Organ‐Match.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
* Comprehensive understanding of CKD and renal transplantation.
* Exceptional organisational, educational, and communication skills.
* Experience coordinating referrals and donor work‐ups across multiple centres.
Benefits & Salary
Permanent part‐time day worker (up to 40 hours fortnight), salary $109,767–115,813 per annum (Pro rata) plus superannuation.

Eligibility
Essential criteria: Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Desirable: postgraduate qualification.
