With a reputation for delivering complex projects in the resources and energy sector, they are now seeking a dynamic leader to drive the expansion of their Mining division in Western Australia. About The Role: This is a senior leadership role for an experienced professional who thrives on building client relationships and winning business.
The successful candidate will focus on securing and delivering utilities-related projects within the resources and energy sector, while leading a growing team and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and grow the Mining business in WA, with a focus on utilities infrastructure for resources and energy. Develop and implement business development strategies to secure new clients and projects. Leverage industry networks to build strong, long-term client relationships. Identify and capitalise on opportunities in power, water, and energy infrastructure supporting mining operations. Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to technical and project teams. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to maximise business opportunities. Represent the business at industry forums and client events. About You Proven track record in senior leadership within mining, resources, or energy-related industries. Strong business development experience, with success in winning utilities-focused projects (power, water, energy infrastructure). Established client relationships within the mining and energy sectors. Commercially astute, with robust negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent leadership and team management capability. Tertiary qualifications in engineering, business, or a related discipline (highly regarded). Why this role?
