The role of MATERIALS CONTROLLER is crucial in this endeavor, requiring strong organizational and problem-solving skills to forecast material requirements and prevent shortages. With proven experience in inventory control and proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock levels, material usage, and order status.


About This Role

* Monitor and manage the flow of materials and supplies to meet production and operational needs.
* Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of materials and components.
* Maintain accurate records of stock levels, material usage, and order status.
* Work closely with the production team to forecast material requirements and prevent shortages.
* Perform regular stock checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Manage material storage, organization, and stock rotation to optimize space and minimize waste.
* Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and follow up on backorders.
* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* SAP Experience Required.
* Proven experience in materials control, inventory management, or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of inventory control principles and practices.
* Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
