**Electrical, Mechanical and Diesel Fitting Apprenticeship Opportunity**
We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Electrical, Mechanical (Fixed Plant) or Diesel Fitter Apprentices. This apprenticeship will provide hands-on training and expert mentorship, enabling you to gain practical skills and industry knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems.
* Diagnose mechanical faults in plant and machinery.
* Support installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, compressors, engines, and other mechanical components.
* Perform routine servicing, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered assets.
The successful candidate will be required to hold a valid driver's licence and have a basic understanding of electrical or mechanical theory and mathematics. Previous experience in a trade environment is preferred. Roster: Standard shifts are Monday to Friday, with optional weekend work and additional hours during the harvest period as needed. 4 days on, 4 days off.
To be considered for this role, you must be enrolled or willing to enrol in a Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician, Certificate III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent). You must also possess high-risk licences including Forklift, Skid-Steer, DOGs (Diesel Fitter).
