Windera State School (Prep‑Year 6) is seeking a Level 2 Principal for a 0.2 FTE (10‑hour) role. This is a temporary part‑time position until 26 June 2026, unless otherwise determined.
With around 23 students, this role offers a unique chance to shape highly personalised learning and foster strong relationships across a small and supportive community.
You will guide a highly motivated team who are committed to ensuring that every student succeeds and help nurture confident, independent and respectful learners.

About The Role
Windera is a rural township of around 105 residents in the South Burnett Region, with the locality extending into both the South Burnett and Gympie regions. Windera State School is a small Prep‑Year 6 school known for its caring, nurturing environment and solid community connections.
The school's programs are designed to support smooth transitions across the primary years and reflect a commitment to personalised and individualised learning. Staff work closely with families to promote confident, respectful and independent learners who value physical, academic and cultural achievement.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest. Any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.
