The Position
Southside Truck Centre is currently seeking applications for Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our Coffs Harbour team. We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, reliable, customer-focused team player to join our Service department.
This is a Monday-to-Friday role, with you needing to participate in a rotating after hours on call roster. The position offers outstanding career growth and job security with a strong and growing independent family-owned business. As a successful candidate, you will join an established and highly respected dealer. You will have to be passionate about our brands and delivering a class-leading customer service experience.

Duties
· Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy vehicles and equipment.
· Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
· Inspect vehicles for faults and defects.
· Maintain accurate service records and reports.
· Work safely and follow all relevant OH&S standards.
Selection Criteria
· Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
· Experience working with Trucks, Trailers and Heavy Vehicle equipment.
· Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
· HR or HC truck license (preferred but not essential).
· Fork Lift license (preferred but not essential).
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong commitment to safety and quality.
