About the role: Reporting to the Manager, Admissions Office, some of your duties include: Following correct procedures for making and cancelling pre- and post-operative assessment appointments, “overbooking” of clinics or re-booking appointments for patients who cancelled or failed to attend as planned Continually prioritising workloads in high demand area and be adaptable to short notice changes to elective surgery in situations of demand management or State of Emergency Producing and distributing theatre lists and/or amendments as required to doctors, nursing staff and unit secretaries Liaise with medical/surgical bed managers regarding allocation/availability of beds, patient admissions and discharges About you: Demonstrate ability to work independently under limited direction using judgment and initiative, self-motivated reliable flexible and enthusiastic Experience in patient related care areas Proven ability to meet strategic deadlines Ability to manage daily correspondence and provide accurate and timely data entry and work processing services Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
