Position Number: 6231 Location: Braidwood
The Package: $74,102.60 to $81,884.92 gross per week + 12% super + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance (Evaluated as Grade 9 of the QPRC Salary System 2025).
Fulltime - 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions may apply.
This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills on the frontline of road inspection and maintenance! Join Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council's Transport Maintenance team and play a key role in ensuring the safety and quality of our rural roads and infrastructure.
In This Role You Will
Conduct regular inspections of unsealed roads, bridges, and drainage systems.Prepare detailed reports with condition assessments and photographic evidence.Respond to Customer Action Requests and unplanned/reactive inspection needs.Assist in scheduling planned works by providing accurate condition-based input.Maintain compliance with workplace HSEQ standards
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Has proven experience inspecting roads, bridges, and transport infrastructure, with the ability to prepare comprehensive and accurate condition reports.Possesses a sound understanding of WHS, including risk assessments.Is proficient in using electronic document management systems, corporate databases, mobile devices, and relevant software for data entry and reporting.Communicates clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
