We are seeking a highly motivated, flexible, and professional Receptionist to join our team for 3–4 days per week, with the possibility of additional hours for the successful applicant.
About the Role
As our Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for clients and play a vital role in ensuring our practice runs smoothly. You'll provide exceptional customer service, support our clinicians, and complete a variety of administrative tasks. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and professional—especially when clients are distressed—are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome clients, manage enquiries, and provide clear information about services and fees.
* Schedule and confirm appointments while supporting clinicians with calendar changes.
* Handle general administration, including client files, scanning, uploading documents, and invoicing.
* Maintain confidentiality and follow privacy requirements.
* Manage waiting lists and assist with client allocation.
* Provide professional phone and email communication.
* Help keep the reception area tidy and support the team as needed.
What You'll Bring
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
* Confidence using Microsoft Office.
* A current Working With Children Check.
Bonus Skills
* Experience in a healthcare reception or similar role.
* Understanding of privacy legislation and reporting requirements.
* Familiarity with Halaxy practice software.
