About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Paediatric Critical Care Medicine team (DPCCM) as a Nurse Educator.
Key duties of the role: Integrating clinical expertise and personal experience to support decision-making, innovation, and objective analysis.
Contributes to competency improvement, reviews practices, and implements change.
Works with leadership to enhance care, reduce complaints, and promote cultural sensitivity and equity in services.
Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads.
Skills and Experience Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
Critical Care Qualification - (Certificate appropriate to the area and role)
Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post-graduation experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse or holds an Associate Nurse Unit Manager position.
Demonstrate competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with NMDA and relevant professional college standards of practice.
