We are seeking a qualified Audiometrist/Audiologist who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing audiometry services to clients in an occupational health setting. This opportunity is a casual position working attractive hours – typically rostered 8:00-16:00 Monday-Friday with no weekend work. This role will be working across all three of our clinics (Mile End, Gillman and Elizabeth). The opportunity to deliver on-site audio services, at client premises, is available if our preferred candidate is interested.
This role reports to the Senior Audiologist and is responsible for conducting audiometric tests in accordance with CHG protocols and the relevant Australian standards for occupational audiometry.
Working as part of a busy treatment room you will be upskilled to provide various services across the day. This may include the provision of initial screening for Pre-Employment Medicals such as height, weight, vision and UDS, full training will be provided.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position you must have obtained a Tertiary qualification in Audiometry (or be working towards one). You must be willing to participate in various police checks as required by our clients and have a current clean Drivers Licence. The successful candidate must be willing to all three clinics.
A positive outlook and flexible approach is essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of infection control, quality assurance systems and have experience in Audiometry.
