You will be responsible for sales activities and meeting sales targets for territory through the implementation of direct end-user selling techniques and further develop the business by identifying new opportunities within the Life Science and Industry market.Location: This position reports to the National Sales Manager LSR and is part of the Life Science research team located in Melbourne, Victoria and will be fully remote.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Manage direct sales of products in assigned territory for LSR & Nano product rangeFacilitate the sales activities and monitor sales performance of customer baseMonitor competitive activities and customer response and provide feedback to managementSeek new opportunities to grow the Life Science businessRoutine customer visits and firm relationships with key customers including prospecting new customersTender management, preparing quotations, account management, and conducting instrument demonstrationsProvide high-level customer service & customer satisfactionThe essential requirements of the job include:Minimum 3 years of Sales experience in the life sciences research industryProven experience with microscopy, either through account management or by conducting product demonstrationsHands-on experience with Electron Microscopy, Confocal Microscopes, and familiarity with cell therapy, cancer research, and immunology is highly desirableOutstanding sales and negotiation skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationshipsFluent in English written and oralTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:Ability to travel – 25% travel, overnight, within territory or other locations as requiredMust have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to lift, move or carry equipmentRequired to attend conferences including weekends on occasion.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Working with customers in Life Science and Research industriesExperience in microscopy (sales or research – based)Join our winning team today.
