Global Marketplace Marketing Lead
This role requires a commercially driven, hands-on marketing leader who excels in experimentation, optimisation and measurable business impact.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead global marketing strategies for marketplaces and emerging channels to drive growth across platforms such as Amazon, Tmall, JD, Lazada, affiliate networks and digital retail collaborations.
* Identify and evaluate new direct-to-consumer (DTC) opportunities to expand reach, awareness and revenue.
* Collaborate with regional eCommerce, revenue and market teams to build channel-specific go-to-market and campaign strategies.
* Define commercial goals, key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to measure performance and return on investment (ROI) across all channels.
* Work with brand, performance and digital marketing teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and consistent consumer experience across ecosystems.
* Go-to-Market Execution & Performance Management
* Establish global frameworks, playbooks and best practices for marketplace and emerging channel marketing, including partner management, campaign models, content optimisation and promotional strategy.
* Lead pilot programmes and testing of new commerce models, identifying scalability opportunities and implementation paths for markets.
* Partner with markets to guide localisation, campaign execution and ongoing performance optimisation.
* Develop global toolkits and learning libraries to accelerate knowledge sharing and speed to market.
* Manage relationships with platform partners, affiliate networks, agencies and technology vendors to ensure effective collaboration and high-quality delivery.
* Collaborate with analytics teams to build dashboards and insights that drive data-led decisions and continuous performance improvement.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
* At least 8 years' experience in digital marketing, marketplace management or eCommerce growth.
* Proven success driving performance marketing or commercial outcomes in marketplace environments.
* Strong analytical mindset with experience in optimisation, A/B testing and data-driven decision making.
* Experience building go-to-market strategies and playbooks for new or emerging channels.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience influencing across global and local teams.
* Ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments and balance short-term results with long-term strategy.
* Experience in consumer technology, healthcare or premium consumer goods is desirable.
