About The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Mackay Clinic, Queensland (The Tuwibara people). This is a Permanent Full-Time position, offering 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse at the Mackay Clinic, you will report directly to the Practice Manager and be responsible for delivering a wide range of services, including, but not limited to:
* Providing high-level nursing care and working independently
* Conducting patient triage
* Administering vaccinations and offering travel consultations
* Managing and maintaining stock levels
* Ensuring proper maintenance and sterilisation of equipment
* Adhering to Department of Health & Human Services protocols
* Performing general administrative duties
* Conducting phlebotomy tasks
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, you will need:
* Current First Aid and CPR certifications (Required)
* Certificate in Phlebotomy (Required)
* Current Working with Children Check (Required)
* Current Immunisation Certificate (Desirable
