Job Summary
The Corporate Secretarial Services Manager role is a client-facing position that involves leading, coordinating and supervising company secretarial services for key clients. The incumbent will ensure the quality of work and maintain good relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Management: Actively communicate with clients, service providers and third parties to maintain quality services and strengthen relationships.
* Service Provision: Provide excellent services by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
* Portfolio Oversight: Oversees all requested tasks and responsible for a portfolio of clients, handling company secretarial related duties including incorporation, deregistration, preparation of minutes, resolutions and attending client meetings.
* Advisory Services: Provide advisory services to clients on company secretarial matters.
* Non-Statutory Tasks: Handle non-statutory tasks such as due diligence, opening of bank accounts and other related activities.
* Business Development: Identify potential cross-selling opportunities by developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
* Compliance: Gather KYC documents, assist in periodic compliance reviews, monitor transaction of companies and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Team Supervision: Supervise, guide and support team members to provide professional company secretarial services.
Requirements:
* Qualification in Corporate Governance or related disciplines (law, accounting, business and finance).
* Practicing Chartered Secretary qualification with ICSA is preferred.
* Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in a legal, corporate secretarial or financial services environment, and a minimum of 2 years demonstrated management experience.
* Solid client-facing experience, including managing regional client relationships and attending board meetings.
* Acute understanding and passion for corporate management services.
