Overview
RAMJO is looking for an accomplished executive who can work with the Chair, Deputy Chair and members of the Board, along with RAMJO General Managers, to fulfil the obligations of the position. The Interim Executive Officer will be a crucial person in the recruitment of the permanent Executive Officer, working with Griffith City Council human resources team to complete this task.
About RAMJO
Joint Organisations are legislated groupings of regional councils across NSW. The Riverina and Murray Joint Organisation (RAMJO) comprises the following 11 Councils: Albury City, Berrigan Shire, Edward River, Federation Shire, Griffith City, Leeton Shire, Murray River, Murrumbidgee, Wentworth, Balranald and Narrandera Shire. NSW Joint Organisations operate to fulfil three primary roles, as follows:
Regional strategic planning and priority setting
Advocacy and leadership
Intergovernmental cooperation
Through its strong collaborative network, RAMJO works to create a thriving region abundant in sustainable communities via collaborating effectively through strategic planning, priority setting, advocating, engaging with governments and key stakeholders to ensure the long-term sustainability, well-being and liveability of the region's communities.
Role responsibilities
The Interim Executive Officer will be a key person in supporting RAMJO's governance and leadership needs. Responsibilities include working with the Chair, Deputy Chair, Board members and RAMJO General Managers to fulfil the obligations of the position and lead the recruitment process for a permanent Executive Officer in collaboration with the Griffith City Council human resources team.

Salary
Salary is by negotiation.
