About the Role
As a Project Engineer (Process/Water Treatment), you will be instrumental in the engineering, construction, operation and technical delivery of diverse water treatment, process infrastructure, and environmental projects. Posted to Batchelor NT and reporting to a Senior Project Manager you will play a key role in ensuring project quality, managing risks, coordinating resources, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise in the water sector and develop your leadership capabilities within a supportive team environment.
What You Will Do
* Support Project Managers in delegated aspects of water treatment, civil, infrastructure, and environmental projects.
* Ensure project quality requirements are met and company processes are followed.
* Assist with procurement, contract administration, and financial tracking.
* Prepare technical RFI's and liaise with design consultancies.
* Implement safe systems of work, manage risks, and ensure compliance.
* Oversee the installation, commissioning, operation and optimization of a range of industry leading water treatment processes.
What You Will Bring
* A recognized Engineering Degree or relevant tertiary qualification (Environmental/Process/Chemical).
* Experience in pumping system design, development of process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams and detailed mass balances.
* Understand of O&M processes, continual improvement processes, sampling and data analysis.
* Excellent record in environmental licence compliance, reporting and submission.
* 2-3 years' engineering experience in a water treatment/process/infrastructure project delivery.
* Experience in contracts administration, procurement, scheduling, and cost tracking.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and ERP/PM platforms (e.g., InEight).
* A current White Card, driver's license, and ability to obtain security clearances.
