What will your typical day look like?
As a Technical Lead / Solution Architect in the Optimal Reality team, you will design and support effective delivery capabilities across Deloitte to implement Optimal Reality solutions to solve challenging client problems.
Define technical solutions for end-to-end intelligent systems that combine real-time data, simulation, GenAI, and agentic AI capabilities.
Provide technical architecture support and guidance for delivery teams.
Lead core product development activities for scaled client implementations.
Support business development, including preparing client proposals and scoping engagements.
Present and explain the Optimal Reality solution in client presentations.
Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers to implement client solutions aligned with product vision.

Optimal Reality is Deloitte's advanced Digital Twin platform. We help organizations in asset-intensive industries visualize, understand, control, and optimize their operations in real time using data and digital technologies. Being part of this team offers a unique opportunity to work on a world-class technology platform delivering solutions in Australia and beyond.
We process millions of messages hourly from multiple data sources, presenting real-time insights to improve decision-making and make cities smarter and lives easier. We utilize computer vision, AI/ML, simulation, and prediction techniques to optimize outcomes.
Our backend languages include Golang, Julia, and Python. We use GraphQL for the BFF layer, and our front-end applications are built with React, JavaScript, and DeckGL. We are a full-stack team with skills across front-end, back-end, data, and DevOps.

You are a highly motivated individual with :
Extensive experience in client-facing or technical advisory roles, in-house or in consulting.
Experience leading complex technology transformation projects, managing senior relationships with public and private sector organizations.
Shaping technical solutions and cloud architecture, especially AWS-based.
Experience with scaled cloud deployments, including DevOps, security, and infrastructure.
Experience with digital twin or simulation implementation.
Technical development experience, preferably in microservices systems.
Familiarity with Python, Julia, SQL, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
Experience with GenAI, LLM engineering, and agentic AI systems.
Possession or eligibility for an AGSVA baseline clearance.
