We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing paediatric allied health capacity-building support to early childhood education and care services.
Job Description
The role of Occupational Therapist will be part of the School Readiness Allied Health team, providing high-quality multi-disciplinary services to kindergarten educators and families.
You will be responsible for:
* Purposefully engaging kindergarten educators to identify and support the skill development of children as they prepare for school.
* Providing secondary consultation to kindergartens through coaching and case consultations.
* Undertaking discipline-specific tasks such as providing information on sensory processing, social and play skills, self-regulation, and motor skill development.
* Working collaboratively with other disciplines within the team to provide a comprehensive service.
Key Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A graduate or post-graduate degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Experience working in paediatric allied health, preferably in kindergarten settings.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team to develop and implement evidence-based programs that meet the goals and desired outcomes for children, families, and educators.
