We are seeking an experienced CNC Plasma/Oxy Machine Operator to join our team on afternoon shift, working Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, with overtime available when required. This role reports to the Operations Manager.

What You Will be Doing
* Process materials in line with required process controls
* Update ERP with job status, stock locations and schedules
* Participate in yearly stock take
* Perform daily pre-start checks and scheduled maintenance plans
* Attend and actively engage in meetings pertaining to toolbox discussions, production, job planning, and safety, providing input as relevant and necessary
* Operation of hand tools and material handling
* Overhead crane operation including mechanical and magnetic aids, loading/unloading beds
* Completion of QA paperwork and checks
* Maintain a clean and tidy work area
About You
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and capabilities:
* Relevant trade or industry-related experience (preferred)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
* A flexible and cooperative team-orientated attitude
* Demonstrated understanding of plasma/oxy cutting processes
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A current Forklift license (preferred)
* Previous Steel Industry and overhead crane experience is desirable
