IT Support Analyst – Federal Government Contract
Location: Canberra, Full Time Onsite
Contract Length: 12 months + 12 months extension option
Clearance: Baseline or NV1 required
Australian Citizenship is mandatory
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst for a long-term contract role to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support within a high-profile federal government agency. This position sits within the IT Services Branch, delivering internal user support and basic administration for business applications, systems, and end-user computing.
The role involves supporting day-to-day service desk operations, managing IT systems, and contributing to broader digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide internal-facing customer service and IT support.
- Perform application support and basic administration for business systems.
- Install and remove end-user computing systems.
- Manage workflows and support junior staff as required.
- Collaborate with other technical and business teams across the Agency.
- Resolve moderately complex technical issues and contribute to risk mitigation.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in IT Support, User Support, or Customer Service roles.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Proficiency in Azure, Entra ID, and Active Directory.
Desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or Business.
- Industry certifications in IT, Digital Services, or Business Systems.
