The Department is looking to establish a pool of talented Project Officer's to fill both an immediate fixed-term opportunity until 30 June 2027 and other upcoming vacancies!
Want to grow your career in environmental planning? The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) is seeking a Project Officer to join our Nature Planning Branch and help deliver projects that support sustainable development across WA.
In this role, you'll help deliver priority projects that inform government decision-making and promote sustainable development. You'll coordinate project activities, undertake research on legislation, policy, and spatial data, prepare briefing notes and reports, and liaise with other agencies to achieve shared outcomes. Working closely with senior staff, technical experts, and stakeholders, you'll capture complex issues, negotiate solutions, and ensure collaborative results.
