About the Role
Hands-on senior role for an experienced engineer who can independently scope, design, and deliver complex network and infrastructure projects while handling daily operations across diverse client sites.
You'll own projects end-to-end, engage directly with clients, and work with cutting-edge tech in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement enterprise networks (VLANs, routing, switching, segmentation)
* Deploy and manage WiFi solutions (UniFi, Cisco Meraki, etc.) and secure remote access (VPN, ZTNA)
* Manage Azure/hybrid cloud infrastructure, VMs, backups (Veeam/Azure), and migrations
* Implement network security controls aligned with Essential Eight and zero-trust principles
* Lead client discovery, scoping, documentation, and presentations
* Deliver multiple projects on time with minimal disruption
What You'll Need
* 3+ years + networking experience (routing/switching/VLANs, WiFi deployments)
* Strong Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud skills
* Proven ability to manage hosted servers (Windows/virtualisation) and security implementations
* Experience delivering infrastructure projects independently in a client-facing role
* Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
* Self-starter who thrives on technical challenges and changing priorities
Desirable:
* Azure/Network certifications (AZ-104, AZ-700, CCNA etc.)
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM), Intune, Veeam, Fortinet/Meraki/UniFi
* Essential Eight compliance knowledge
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required for some projects.
