Working in conjunction with the Head of Energy Solutions and the Marketing Manager, the Communications Manager is responsible for developing and delivering a communication program including PR, promotion, media liaison, events, sponsorship and communication with internal and external stakeholders to support the organisations strategic direction.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide advice and support to leadership on communications and marketing activity that supports sales targets and strategic outcomes.
- Manage/oversee relevant materials and folders
- Public Relations management
- Develop high quality content for internal and external communications
- Manage communications consultants (and relevant marketing consultants) towards effective outcomes
- Writing and distribution of key materials for the marketing division including press materials, internal communications, external publications and marketing material
- Support the development of brand and style guides, support the business to use guides.
- As a marketing team member, provide counsel to internal teams on brand, style guide and preparation of brochures and marketing materials
- Provide a gap analysis on current communications activity, including current platforms and consultants providing communications services
- Develop a detailed short-term tactical communication plan approved by sales manager/marketing manager
- Develop a strategic communications plan, 12-18 months approved by sales manager/marketing manager
- Define plan objectives and measures of success and track results
- Provide reporting on plan progress and results against approved measures
- Deliver activities associated with approved communications plan
**Qualifications**:
- Degree qualified in marketing, communication or equivalent, and/or extensive (5 years) experience in a professional marketing, communications or management role
- Proven experience in Public Relations
- Demonstrated management experience or significant experience managing teams, providing feedback and managing performance
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Expertise in verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite
