Tenacious House provides innovative, voluntary residential rehabilitation programs for men, over the age of 18, who are experiencing co-occurring addiction and mental health issues. Through combining residential treatment, and a range of external community support services, Tenacious House offers an evidence-based approach to recovery from long-term addiction and mental health conditions in a unique integrated recovery and connection program.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Board is seeking a growth minded Chief Executive Officer who is strongly aligned to the Tenacious House values and will lead our organisation in the next exciting chapter of service expansion. The successful CEO candidate will have a proven track record as an executive/senior leader, ideally in the not-for-profit sector delivering outstanding rehabilitation programs in mental health sector.
The Board is willing to accept CEO candidates looking for Part Time or Full Time opportunities.

Excellence in organisational management with the ability to coach staff, manage and develop high performing teams.
Passion for helping people move from isolation to connection, despair to hope, and instability to resilience.
Hi level of emotional intelligence with the ability to understand and manage one's own emotions, empathising with others and building strong and genuine relationships.
Degree qualified and extensive professional experience with significant executive leadership accomplishments in business, government, philanthropy, or the non-profit sector.
Demonstrated success in identifying, securing and managing funding from government, philanthropic and other external sources to support operational sustainability and strategic growth of services.
Sound financial leadership and decision making, able to develop and maintain budgets for organisational success.
Experience in working with government and a wide range of service providers and other stakeholders.
Collaboratively works with a highly engaged and supportive Board passionate about seeing more people helped by the Tenacious House program.
Ensures ongoing excellent program delivery while focusing on expanding the care provided.
Maintains a positive image with the public regarding the entity's activities, including management of major stakeholder relationships.
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, self-motivated and self.
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
