An established global IT managed services provider is seeking an accomplished senior sales leader to drive strategic growth across the Energy & Resources sector.
This is a high-impact enterprise sales role focused on winning new logos and expanding major accounts across oil & gas, mining, fuels, chemicals, and broader resources environments. You will own complex pursuits end-to-end, engaging C-suite stakeholders and delivering large-scale managed services and digital transformation outcomes.
This is a true hunter role — suited to a senior sales professional who thrives on building pipeline from scratch, shaping multimillion-dollar deals, and displacing incumbents in competitive enterprise environments.
You will operate at executive level across the ANZ market, leading opportunities spanning managed services, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and large transformation programs, while building long-term strategic relationships with key clients.
About the Role Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of go-to-market strategy for Energy & Resources and play a critical role in driving sustained revenue growth.
Your focus will be on identifying new opportunities, developing executive relationships, and leading complex pursuits from qualification through to close, supported by solution architects, delivery teams, and alliance partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for the Energy & Resources sector
* Drive new business growth across oil & gas, mining, fuels, chemicals, and downstream environments
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of large, complex managed services and transformation opportunities
* Lead end-to-end sales pursuits including qualification, solution shaping, commercial strategy, and contract close
* Develop trusted relationships with C-suite and senior operational stakeholders across target accounts
* Collaborate closely with delivery, solution, and partner teams to craft compelling value propositions
* Expand existing strategic accounts while securing net-new logo wins
* Contribute to broader sector strategy, market positioning, and revenue targets
* Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting
About You You are a proven enterprise sales hunter with a strong track record of winning complex IT services deals and growing strategic accounts.
You bring deep Energy & Resources exposure and are comfortable navigating large organisations and executive buying groups.
Key Requirements
* Demonstrated success selling enterprise IT services, managed services, outsourcing, cloud, or digital transformation
* Experience selling into Energy & Resources organisations (oil & gas, mining, fuels, chemicals, utilities, or related sectors)
* Track record of consistent quota over-achievement and new logo acquisition
* Strong capability engaging C-suite and senior operational stakeholders
* Background within a global systems integrator, managed services provider, or technology services organisation
* Highly commercial mindset with strong negotiation and deal-shaping skills
* Disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting
* Self-driven, outcome focused, and comfortable operating in complex, competitive environments
