We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing the organisation's financial management, reporting, budgeting and internal controls while supporting strategic decision‐making across the business.
This is a key role within the organisation, providing financial oversight and partnering with leadership to drive strong financial performance and governance.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all financial planning and analysis functions
* Prepare and review monthly management reports and financial statements
* Monitor, analyse and communicate financial performance to the General Manager and senior leadership team
* Develop and manage annual budgets and long‐term financial forecasts, including capital budgets
* Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and relevant legislation
* Develop, maintain and monitor internal controls and financial policies
* Recommend improvements to systems, processes and procedures to strengthen financial performance
* Partner with the senior leadership team to support organisational strategy and decision‐making
* Oversee organisational IT functions
* Mentor and support members of the finance team
* Work collaboratively across all areas of the organisation
About You
You are a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working both strategically and operationally.
* Proven experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or senior finance role
* Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting expertise
* Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Experience developing and maintaining internal controls and financial governance frameworks
* Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non‐financial stakeholders
* Leadership and team mentoring experience
* Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
